So which one do you invest more time into?
In one simple word… BOTH!
Without new leads your biz will not grow and expand as every customer has a life cycle in any biz… that’s a fact! And it’s different for every business depending on what they are selling. And also with out looking after those customers you have, your throwing money down the drain.
Your biz is kinda like a rock pool… a super rad rock pool I must say too. With no water feeding into it, your rock pool will slowly empty out and dry up.
If you are not investing time, money or energy into growing new connections, when people drop away from working with you, as they naturally do (don’t take it personally girl, one thing that is constant is change) you’ll hit a point in your biz where you’ll either have no more people to come to your adventures, or they will have already done them all.
You need to create ways of letting the water flow in. There are so many different ways to generate new leads, its a matter of finding one or two that work for you, your style, how you like to do things.
And remember, fresh water is great as it bring fresh energy with it also.
Nurturing existing relationships all about building trust and showcasing what you do with those peps that see what you do, like what you do and want to know more about what you do with the possibility of getting involved with what you’re doing.
Make sure you have great systems in place to stay in touch regularly with peps, and to regularly let them know how they can work with you or join you on your next adventure.
Remember, it’s all about finding the balance of giving relevant content that is inspiring and engaging and inviting people to join you on your adventures.
